This directory contains supplementary data for the "Open Chromatin" UTA TFBS, Duke DNase-seq, UNC FAIRE-seq, and Open Chrom Synth tracks. There are 2 types of validation assays named as follows: - wgEncodeOpenChromEnhancerValidationAssay.pdf - wgEncodeOpenChromInsulatorValidationAssays.pdf In mapping sequence tags to the reference genome, certain regions were excluded from alignments for being problematic (such as satellites and rRNA genes). These excluded regions are in this file: - wgEncodeOpenChromDukeExcludedRegionsHg19.bed.gz The lack of unique sequence at particular locations in the reference genome can undermine the effort map sequence tags. The degree of sequence uniquness in the reference genome for two different window sizes have been generated as signals: - wgEncodeOpenChromDukeUniqueness20Hg19.wig.gz - wgEncodeOpenChromDukeUniqueness35Hg19.wig.gz
